Yes. Park City, Utah is the best snowboarding in the continental US. We rode 3 mountains and the quick take is below. Stunning views, great infrastructure, organized and well managed. The circumstances were:
- Peak Holiday Season: Week between Christmas and New Years
- Limited natural snow: Most snow was man made
- Limited access: About 1/3 of trails were open.
Mountains:
- Brighton: The best value by far. Especially if it’s the busy season, even if you’re staying in Park City you can take the 50 minute drive to Brighton instead of waiting in lift lines for 50 minutes.
- Park City: Wow! World class snowboarding. Long trains, excellent grooming equipment, a real treat especially if you’re used to New England mountains.
- Canyons: Connected to Park City is Canyons which if the mountain is completely open you can take lifts to access. If the connecting trails are closed you can take a 15 minute free bus ride. It’s worth it for sure!
